Heawon Hake , LCSW ASAC is a licensed psychotherapist and addiction counselor with a post master’s training in Gestalt Psychotherapy. She earned her MSW (Masters in Social Work) from Adelphi University and ASAC (Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling ) from Pace School. She received her Post master’s training at the Gestalt Center of Long Island.
She has been in private practice over 30 years with experiences in family counseling, mental health counseling, addiction counseling, eating disorder, infertility and trauma. She was awarded a quarter million dollars from New York State to implement her advanced treatment program dealing with addiction and with families affected by it in the East End of Long Island. Currently She serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Marriage, Family and Individual Counseling.
She provides supervision for social workers who are looking to gain certifications.
Her therapeutic approach is heavily influenced by Gestalt therapy, focus counseling, and spirituality.
